SSL which is known as Secure Sockets Layer is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client For instance, a web server and that of a browser or a mail server and a mail client.
Any time a browser make an attempt to access a website that is secured by SSL, the browser and the web server establish an SSL connection using a process called an “SSL Handshake” .
There are three keys used in setting up the SSL connection which include: the public, private, and session keys. Anything encrypted with the public key can only be decrypted with the private key, and vice versa.

Because, CDN which content delivery network remains a group of servers spread across different geographical locations worldwide to enable the quick delivery of a website’s content. This can also be refer to as a content distribution network.
A secured website must have a password control mechanism that guides against simple password and also instill culture of password expiry for regular password resets.
Every secured website must be built with a security mechanism that will always prevents or denies unwanted access to private data on websites.
Websites must have tools for periodic manual or automatic back ups.
